Real chicken meal is the primary ingredient in our Meridian™ Daybreak™ Recipe. Chicken meal provides more meat protein and roughly 4-5 times the amount of nutrients as the same amount of chicken. The reason for this is that chicken is approximately 70% water, whereas, dried chicken meal is only about 5% water. 100 lbs. of chicken meal provides 65 lbs. of high-quality protein, while 100 lbs. of chicken provides only 10-15 lbs. of protein.
